Our Story

My wife, Carmel, and I love hospitality. She gets to practice it every day as the administrative assistant at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Little Rock and I get to enjoy offering hospitality in my ministry as a spiritual director and supervisor. We truly enjoy offering people opportunities to be heard and to grow in deeper intimacy with God. 

Carmel and I married in 2018 and have one adult daughter, Brianna, who is married to Erick. They have blessed us with a beautiful grandson, Sebastian. We also have a Sheltie named Reilly, who loves to give kisses and boops. In addition to offering hospitality, Carmel and I enjoy hiking, kayaking, traveling, music, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

I am blessed to hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Saint Meinrad College and a Masters of Divinity from Notre Dame in New Orleans. I completed a three-year training program in spiritual direction from the Institute of Priestly Formation at Creighton University, and also received supervision training in spiritual direction from the Sophia Spirituality Center. I am a member of Spiritual Directors International and have been offering spiritual direction and retreats for more than twenty-five years.

Throughout my life, I have been blessed with opportunities to teach, counsel, write, minister, lead retreats and provide spiritual direction. I am the author of The Intimacy You Desire and Becoming Wholehearted. Please let us know if we can serve you, your church, faith formation group, or family.
